MACROVUE UV-20 230V - UV20-230V

The MacroVue UV-20 UV transilluminator has an active area of 20 x 20 cm and has a High/Low intensity switch. At the surface the average intensity is 9,000 µW/cm2 in the high intensity mode, and about 7,000 µW/cm2 in the low intensity mode. Use the high setting for analytical documentation work; the low setting reduces chances of photonicking or photobleaching gel samples during prep work.

Transilluminators are backlit by 8 watt, 302 nm midrange ultraviolet tubes. The tubes provide an even distribution of UV light at the filter surface for better documentation of gels. Units are equipped with a long-life UV transmitting filter which delivers thousands of hours of use without filter solarization. A UV blocking safety cover eliminates 100% of harmful UV radiation and is adjustable to different angles. The units are scratch-resistant, powder-painted for durability. You can convert either MacroVue UV Transilluminator from the standard 302 nm wavelength to 254 nm shortwave UV light by changing the UV lamps.
