Fluorometer

The DQ300 Fluorometer is a compact, dual channel unit designed to produce quick, easy and accurate fluorescence measurements.

Advantages

Detects DNA accurately in the presence of interfering RNA or protein
Assay low volume samples with the optimal Minicell adapter
Operates in two modes: Discrete (one time 5-second average) or Continuous (user defined serial measurements)

RS232 cable connects to the serial port of a PC and outputs results using spreadsheet supplied interface software

DQ Fluorescent standard

Hoefer Inc, has just introduced a new standard for use in Fluorometric quantitatation of DNA. The Hoefer DQ302 contains 250 µg of highly purified double stranded DNA that can be used as a calibration standard for assays using Hoescht dye (bisBenzimide H33258). The DQ302 sample is prepared in solution, supplied at a concentration of 1 mg/ml and can be diluted if needed for assays requiring a standard of 100 ng DNA.
