ASURAGEN MOLECULAR PRODUCT PORTFOLIO
Asuragen is a fully integrated diagnostic company focused on personalized medicine and companion diagnostics in the field of oncology and human genetics.
The current product portfolio is comprised of stellar multiplexed assays enabling the detection of mutations often found in solid tumors, such as KRAS or BRAF, and fusion transcripts of mutations associated with specific leukemia types or subtypes. These assays incorporate Signature® Technology, which is optimized for the rapid multiplex analysis of nucleic acid sequences in a single reaction, thus enhancing operational efficiencies through reduced costs and streamlined workflow.
The oncology offering also has an innovative RT-qPCR assay to measure BCR/ABL1 fusion transcripts expression levels in blood. Asuragen has recently introduced two state of the art PCR technologies for molecular characterization of the trinucleotide repeat in 5’ region of the fragile X mental retardation (FMR1) gene. Additionally there is a catalogue of individual reagents for use in molecular assays including an RNA stabilization product and industry-leading controls and standards engineered using Asuragen’s patented Armored RNA® technology.
